BB| Matthew Poole & Thomas Aquinas Partitively Exegete John 12:44

It is crucial that we discern between what is proper to divinity and what is proper to the creature, especially when it comes to our Christology.

Our Lord necessarily implies a distinction between His divine and human natures in John 12:44. Both Poole and Aquinas pick up on the distinction in their commentary.
