STT| Do You Really Believe God’s Will Is Best for You? (HC LD 49, Q/A 124)

 Posted in Small Town Theologian

It is amazing how appealing our will can be. We want to do what we want to do, and we’re often skeptical about the goodness of God’s will. Why would Jesus teach us to pray, “Thy will be done”?

There must be something inherently good about God’s will, in fact, much better than our will. We need to trust ourselves less and God more, and that’s why we need to pray, “Thy will be done.”
